Invisible walls hold me captive

Locked in unlockable room

No easy way out

hunger for a better view

stretching to build my self up

Heard the world on the other side

wanted to be part of the fun

Pushed on the wall

Felt it give a little

pushed a little harder

watched the wall crumble

Broke through the wall

Tore it down

Stepped over the rubble

Rejoined the world

Rediscovered my freedom

To go wherever I please

broke th chains and or shackles that bound me

no invisible walls to contain me

Wish I could express the way I feel

In the way ifeel it

Great poetry !

Expression through poetry is a way forward for me as well and I've used words to express exactly how I feel, it's caused a lot of discomfort for other people but has helped me reach and resolve painful past moments. Living and listening to everyday able language causes me a lot of discomfort, poetry leaves me with a feeling of living with grace and that sits well with me.
