My FAST Hero

My husband, Stewart is my F.A.S.T. Hero

It was 5.30 am on Monday morning. I was thrashing around bed then I fell out. Stewart rushed around the bed and tried to pick me up. He recognised my stroke straight away.
Face: I had a facial droop.
Arm: I couldn’t lift my arm and I couldn’t walk , I was paralysed down my right side.
Speech: I was unable to speak.
Time: he called 000 immediately. I remember calling the the ambulance and saying “ I think my wife is having a stroke!”

Stewart truly did save my life that day!
