On Thursday this week I took part in a book signing at Books of Buderim. It was pretty quiet on the sales front but I managed to chat to lots of passersby (standing on the street near the book shop), handing out leaflets and raising awareness about stroke. My friend visited with a much needed cup of coffee too. Thanks always to the book shop owner Fiona Bland who facilitated this for me. I even managed to chat to a Buderim Chronicle (local newspaper) journo w
ho was there for someone else. Hopefully I will have an article in their paper in the next two weeks so will post it then.

Yesterday I book signed, shared stroke news and met some amazing people outside Rosetta Books, Maleny. It was fun. I spoke with a beautiful mental health nurse at the Caboolture hospital who wanted to me to talk to some of her clients and staff during mental health week commencing 10 October so hope we can organise a date to suit.
