Do you run a Peer Support Group? And do you want to refresh or strengthen your skills in supporting people impacted by stroke?
Creating safe, supportive spaces matter. This is your opportunity to build confidence and capability.
Stroke Foundation are piloting a training workshop shaped directly by facilitator feedback. Delivered by Lifeline, the workshop features the Accidental Counsellor course led by an experienced trainer.
The course will be held online:

This workshop provides practical skills in:
· Active listening and effective questioning.
· De-escalation and grounding techniques.
· Applying the Recognise - Respond - Refer model when supporting someone in emotional distress.
· Demonstrating key communication skills in challenging conversations.
· Understanding the importance of self-care when offering support.
