Acupuncture

Thanks Paul, it is great that you are sharing your experience. I am really pleased to hear that you are feeling the best you have felt post stroke. We have heard survivors of stroke using acupuncture for a variety of reasons, however our clinical guidelines for stroke management mention that for stroke survivors with spasticity, acupuncture should not be used for treatment of spasticity in routine practice other than as part of a research study. It is great to hear you will continue with your regular Botox. It is also advisable to see a physiotherapist pre and post your Botox to ensure you receive the best outcomes you can.

sorry i posted in the wrong blog.. i had a lot of chinese medicine and accupuncture..... no great results my neurologist oked it... 16 years ago. 5 months in rehab... botox too, has anything worked??? no not really! daily stretching and trying to be normal. i like rehabIQ on youtube
