Hello! Firstly, we’d like to introduce ourselves – we are Suzanne Larsson and Meg Werner and we are joint Volunteer Coordinators at the Stroke Foundation. We have a very busy year ahead with many roles in development across our Volunteer Program. We would like to keep you updated via enableme regarding opportunities that might be of interest to you.
In planning for 2016, one of the most exciting proposals was to create a team of volunteers at our national office reception (in Melbourne) – a team that will include stroke survivors, their carers, families and friends – to be the face of the Stroke Foundation.
The role offers the opportunity to engage with all aspects of the Stroke Foundation – our staff, Board and committees, donors, stroke survivors and their families, and the general public. You will be the welcoming face when people come to our office and the friendly voice at the end of the phone.
More details about the role, including a detailed Position Description, can be found on our website here. If it sounds like something you would like to do, please complete an Expression of Interest form, also on our website here.
If you’d like to chat to either of us regarding volunteering at the Stroke Foundation, please give us a call on (03) 9670 1000 or reply to this post and we’ll get in touch.
