As part of my thinking workload I am delving more into our game, we are already aware of the talls and smalls. There are, of course, mid-sized players who work overall parts of the game.
I postulate that A.F.L, is played out in a three dimensional matrix like a game of chess.
Too complicated?
Not a bit. Just listen to the running analyses of the experts, sample:
If “A” had to passed the ball to “B”, instead of long kicking, they could’ve kept it at half forward where they had more numbers.
Rules: I doubt if any player knows all of them. The commentators are always pointing out varying umpire decisions. Still keeps it interesting for old thinkers. It may be perfect if refs. All had a P.H.D. in probability theory – which would be hard to get if I was doing peer reviews.
