That's right, thrill seekers and fellow time travelers— I-REBOUND is your digital iceberg! While it may look impressive on the surface, its true value lies beneath.
In this epistle, we’ll take a deep dive to explore what’s hidden below that can truly assist stroke survivors in their daily lives. But first, before we dip our toes into the water, let’s take a moment to reflect on the origins and objectives of I-REBOUND, the Everest of “After Stroke Resources” in Australia.
I-REBOUND is a web-based portal developed by the Stroke Foundation and the University of Newcastle, co-designed with Stroke Survivors. Its purpose is to reduce the risk of further strokes by providing information to help Stroke Survivors lead healthier and easier lives.
The I-REBOUND Project was led strategically by Professor Coralie English from the University of Newcastle, a prominent and respected Australian Stroke Researcher who outlines the objectives of this unique initiative.
The website was funded by the Stroke Foundation through the Nancy & Vic Allen Stroke Prevention Memorial Fund Grant.
I'll now provide some examples of the rich information found in sections like Eat Well, Move More, and Hints and Hacks.
Now, let’s focus on how to kickstart the day with a stroke-friendly breakfast.

Always check in with your doctor before beginning a new exercise routine. They can offer advice and recommend a physiotherapist if necessary.
