Nine Years of Support, Compassion and Understanding.
Dear Thrill Seeker and Fellow Time Traveller, next Friday,18 April 2025 \{Good Friday\} marks the Ninth anniversary of my Left Lacuna Stroke \{at 8.36 PM\}.
In previous years on this occasion, I have produced a blog but with the passing of time I have become more circumspect about this event, and dare I use the phrase \{this stroke has become part of my DNA\} when thinking about it.
So, this year and on this occasion it will be a matter of quiet introspection for me, at my “special spot”
Many of you are aware of my involvement \{via my Lived Experience\} in not only stroke research but a myriad of other activities in the clinical research landscape, so there is no need to iterate these matters.
However, there is one aspect of my days that I want to specifically mention and that is to sincerely thank each of you who I have been involved with since my episode for your support, understanding, and compassion.
The depth of my gratitude is immeasurable!
I am reluctant to name names, as I am afraid, I will omit someone, but you know who you are.
It been truly mind blowing and extremely humbling, times the level of support that you have given me and it's one of the factors that motivate me to keep going with all my activities.
So, on this occasion, allow me to thank each of you in the most heartfelt way for your support and understanding and I look forward to another nine years of involvement and associati
