Hi Kate, Readying is such a wonderful past-time that lets you escape into another world or learn more about the one we are in. I'm sure you will get some great suggestions from the group but here are some products you may not be aware of: Book Holders & Page Turners | NED (askned.com.au) Our team member Gail, also prefers books to digital but has discovered a love for her Kindle Paper white which is light to hold and carry and allows for the font size to be changed to suit her.
Hope you continue to be able to do what you love with these and more suggestions from the group :)
thanks that’s really helpful link
doesnt , my eyes have been affected by the stroke so I cant read yet alone hold a pen , sorry I cant be of more help .Luckily the computer can make the text bigger .
sorry to hear that Garry
Hi Kate, have you tried Audio Books? You can buy them and also get them from a local library. Given my short term memory issues, when reading a book, I tend to forget what I read on a few previous pages. When listening I tend to remember more. Also, I have issues with my eye sight, so Audio Books worked for me.
thanks Michael, I haven't but I should try them, thanks for the suggestion
