Did you know that a lot of the content on the Young Stroke website was made by stroke survivors through previous "pitching" rounds?
Pitching is where we invite the young stroke community to pitch (tell us) their idea for content and we'll pay and support successful pitchers to create it.
In the past, people have created podcasts, videos, articles and written pieces. They've shared advice and stories about their experiences, what they're passionate about and what they've learned.
I chatted to some of those previous content creators about the experience, watch it below.
Do you have an idea for content? Pitching is open again.
Click for more information and the application form.
You can pitch any idea you have, but if you're not sure where to start, below are some of the topic areas that have been requested by the community
- Psychological wellbeing and mental health
- Sex, dating and relationships
- Work, study and volunteering
- Experiences of treatment and care
- NDIS access and planning
- Rehabilitation
- Connection to Country and culture
- Travel, leisure and going out
- Aphasia
- Support crew
So tell us your idea and create content for Young Stroke
Got questions? Ask them below :)
