Graeme, congratulations - I love this photo.
Can you tell us a bit more about it? I know you got back to work after your stroke. Tell us more :)
Good picture , but ho one there I know , was in Nepean for 4 months after my stroke I had 5 years ago , shame I couldnt see the MRI photos , but moved to a Melbourne Nursing Home after I left the Nepean , and yes no treatment after I left , seems you dont get any help at all after 4 months , had the bleeding type stroke , vein burst in my lower head . Say hi to the physio staff for me , yes still alive and severely disabled and know change or improvement at all , knows they tried their best .
Hi Garry
I am extremely lucky as I had physio with the Cardiac team and I am still under rehab treatment with Clinical Psychologist and Cardiologist not within the hospital setting. Like many of us our treatment to recover within a hospital setting wasn't the best and I certainly made my feelings known. Depending on what public hospital you are taken to, there are excellent rehab/ physio treatments available which have follow ups after you leave.
