Closing the Circle

So my professional friend cut our relationship.

I was left with a nearly finished text of my story “recovery from stroke” I made a few changes and additions, but none to Emm’s physio work.

At last I had it published by the N.S.F. my senior physios were happy but I do not know if management made any attempt to benefit from it. And I was not keen to see anyone profit from my personal account.

So what am I doing? Plenty!

But now is the time to close the circle. When working daily with Emm it was not appropriate to sum up who made the most mistakes and who had better ideas. So, no praise and blame. I don’t know if this is the usual 2way of working.

One day I heard two senior physios mention Emm’s name. “Do you keep in touch?” “How?” “We are on her Facebook list” “Would you send a message from me?” “Sure”

“Emm thank you for all the work you did on our story. It has just been published by the S.F Angus”.

Week 1. No reply, Week 2. No reply, Week 3. Reply “Thanks”

The circle has been joined.
