Bob is one of our favourite people. It's good to see him looking so well, he's been through a hell of a lot. Here is a blog he did a while a go about his journey from stroke to cancer.

Interested to note that his hole in the heart hadn't been detected earlier. They usually make a noise when the heart is listened to with a stethoscope: doesn't need fancy tests to pick up (Our daughter was born with a congenital heart defect so I'm familiar with lots of heart stuff, even more so now after having open heart surgerys last Christmas). Her hole in the heart was picked up in the hospital the day after she was born (she had Tetralogy of Fallot, now fixed, and the hole is one of the conditions of this defect)
Seeing a stroke-survivor person achieving its goal is really heartwarming. Go, Bob! You can do it.
