Today is a special one. 7 years without more strokes. I am happy to call myself “ a proud survivor”. My husband is My Hero as he called 000 at 5/30am by 6am I was in emergency. These days I have a greater knowledge of stroke. Jenny
Anniversaries are something you don`t forget, even 14 years later, back then it took 13 hrs to get treatment an hour away. Through auditing hospitals to make sure they have a stroke unit and making, not just the public aware that time is critical, outcomes are better.
