With a number of NDIS plans up for review and planning gets underway for the 2020 plan, I am hoping strokeline or experienced members in this community would be able to shed some light on specific assistive technology AT) that stroke survivors with onesided paralysis or hemiplegia (or other) can avail of through NDIS funding would be helpful to a number of stroke survivors living with disabilities. While I appreciate that no two strokes are alike and that not all solutions/technology would be suited to every survivor, it would be great to hear from people who have been able to purchase and benefit from what NDIS classifies as AT(assistive technology) through their NDIS funding during the time the scheme been available.
