Pictures

Hi Michael,I'm here testing the site today and pleased to see a date/time stamp on your message above, as it's not present in the questions section. I am also going to check if one can edit one's posts - or not - and can make paragraphs.Onto strokes, I was 56 when I had a stroke and I am now seeing a wider range of pictures and stories of people who have had strokes, so it is beginning to happen, which is great. I was very unaware of how strokes worked and the fact even babies could have them, however have learnt a lot in the past few years.

Well, there's a date stamp but no time on each message. No paragraphs either, which is going to make reading a very long message a tad frustrating!

thanks, I mean images in general, if we are trying to publicize Stroke we should use marketing practices, one problem though is that Stroke has no cure unlike Cancers, ie Breast Cancer; but B.C has a huge Awareness.

Hi Michael, I'm shameless in letting the NSF use my image in promotional material. I was 34 and a new dad when I had my stroke. I know they used images of me around a fathers day promotion amongst other things.

I agree Michael, images in the past have often featured older people. We have been trying to change that over the past few years and have had some success with changing perception, but there is still a long way to go. A stroke can happen to anyone, at any time!Diana
