Anti- coagulant medication

Hi All

I recently injured my shoulder and the anti coagulant medication caused major internal bleeding and a life threatening drop in blood pressure. I was admitted to hospital and given an infusion of blood platelets to stop the bleeding. I am recovering and I am supposed to re start the blood thinners but I am frightened now. The reaction was more frightening than my stroke.

Has anyone had a similar experience?
