So this post is about the milestones I've been achieving lately. I'm a very active person its hard for me to sit still so I developed a project called a "A few more steps for stroke awareness".
I aim to walk 15,000kms on a treadmill in short achievable legs, it may take me a while even for ever, but it gives me something to focus on and motivates me, and who knows who it can motivate here.
5 months on I've
walked 42km my first marathon distance just by doing a few kms a day and sharing my result via a fitbit and posting it to facebook nearly every day.
I'm now over half way with my second fitbit goal of 112kms, goes to show that every step is a step forward and does matter.
I've walked for 7 days straight and shared my results for 7 days straight with no rest days, I'm proud of these efforts/milestones
You can follow my progress here "A FEW MORE STEPS FOR STROKE AWARENESS"
Sometimes the milestone just happen and I work it out without even a plan, when I reached my 50,000 steps thought oh that's a milestone, so now I keep track in a blog every worthy milestone possible something to look back on, then sometimes there are mini goals I do plan like reaching 112kms, I'll get there.
Never give up on your goals each day is a step forward we are all lucky to be here, I don't see these achievements as small I had a stroke 5months ago, this is huge for me and glad I found something to keep me motivated, helping and inspiring others where possible.
Keep on smiling XO
More milestones to come
