Hi everyone,

My name is Lucy and I am part of a sleep and fatigue treatment study for individuals who have sustained a stroke or traumatic brain injury, at the Monash Epworth Rehabilitation Research Centre. I have posted on Enableme a few times before, and have been granted the opportunity to meet some wonderful people!

We are looking for some more volunteers to take part in our research project. If you have experienced sleep and/or fatigue problems since your stroke, please have a read of our study flyer and see if you might be interested in being involved. You will receive an 8-week free treatment for sleep and fatigue problems with a Neuropsychologist, in addition to answering some questionnaires about your sleep, fatigue and mood at various time points.

Given the current COVID-19 restrictions, all of our study appointments are conducted via telehealth videoconferencing, using Zoom. There are no costs associated with participation.

If you have any questions or would like to hear more about this study, please get in contact with me at lucy.ymer1@monash.edu

Thank you for your time in reading this post.

Hi Lucy,

this is a mail from Holland. My Joan has her Stroke in november 15 and an interesting history since - which is a VERY polite way of describing 6 years of pure misery. Especially fatigue en also sleep disturbance was a livid part of it. In April this year we got our vaccine Pfizer which added a, what I call Drop Dead Tiredness. Well that how is is, is the wisdom of the locals.

I would be delighted to participate in your Study, Joan is not up ti it so far.

Please make contact

Carer Oskar
