Here at the University of Newcastle we are trialing programs aimed at reducing your risk of having another stroke through exercise and healthy eating. These programs are delivered over the internet via telehealth, so there’s no need to leave your home to participate. The team have already done some research involving stroke survivors to develop the programs, so they are designed to meet your needs. During the design process stroke survivors also helped us name the programs (the i-Rebound After Stroke “Let’s get moving!” and “Eat for Health” programs).
If you are over 18, have had a stroke or a TIA and can walk (even a little, with or without an aid) and want to hear more about this study, please contact us on 02 40420999 or enable-pilot@newcastle.edu, or see our website for more information https://hmri.org.au/participate-research/stroke-telehealth-enable
