Has anyone had a family member diagnosed with this? It seems to be a sensory disorder following damage after an ischaemic stroke. It affects the left arm and leg with unremitting, unpleasant sensations and an increasing loss of function. There doesn't seem to be any practical treatment available. The neurologist has prescribed a drug called Lyrica, but it's ineffective. Really, it seems as if he has no idea himself how to treat it. I'd be interested to learn if anyone else has encountered this problem and found any way to mitigate the effects. Thank you.
