Nathan and Kerry-Ann are expecting their first child very soon. They shared this article called: 'My husband has a disability. I don't. This is what I wish I'd known before we had a kid.'
I thought others may find it helpful. Thanks Nathan and Kerry-Ann for sharing.

Parenting with a disability is unique for each couple.
We were aware of Nathan's limitations and disabilities prior to conceiving and what this will mean to our roles in co-parenting. I am planning to single parent with his help appreciated in whatever way possible. I am placing no expectations on him but know that he will give it a go and try his best.
We're starting to practice baby care and trying to prepare ourselves for this unique situation, but know this can change at the drop of a hat when the baby arrives. The main thing we have learnt is to be open and communicate, which has allowed us to adapt to any situation we may find ourselves in. - Nathan and Kerry-Ann
