Hi, post stroke survivor (left side dense, cannot walk) wanting to take family away to Queensland in July. Any tips on: wheelchair friendly accommodation near Mooloolaba, also need to access a service similar to Australian Unity for showering whilst there, hiring of a lift chair/electric wheelchair (or can electric wheelchair come on flight?), car hire. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Ron

I will ask around - I have a family friend who is in a wheelchair long term due to quadriplegia . He and his family may have been up that way. He has traveled quite a bit with his family so may know of some places/contacts.
