Hi All,
My 47 year old husband suffered two strokes at the end of May this year. He underwent a PFO closure on the 6th June.
We had the 3 month follow up this week whereby they conducted a further bubble test and did an ultrasound.
The bubble test showed bubbles getting through the PFO....despite the Amplatzer device being installed in June this year.
I would love to hear from anyone who has had a bubble test a few months after the PFO closure which has shown bubbles still getting through.
I would love to know if this is normal or not.
My husband's cardiologist advised that he would do a further bubble test in December which will be the 6 month mark however to relive my husband's anxiety and depression now, I would love to hear from you all.
Thank you in advance.
