A Stroke of Poetry - my new book

Hi Everyone. I've not been on enableme much over recent months as I have been getting my poetry book together. My launch date and Stroke Foundation fundraiser is November 29th when the book will be ready for sale and I am excited that I can at last share with the world some of my poems that were written during my recovery. I am eternally grateful to Diana Kerr and the National Stroke Foundation who helped me immensely through my recovery and for that reason, every book sold will have a donation made to the Stroke Foundation. Hi Shelagh,

Congratulations and well done on your recovery and for being well enough to be able to write your poetry and then put all your energies into getting it published. I shall look forward to reading a copy of "A Stroke of Poetry". Good luck for your lauunch on November 29

Hi there Bruce..thanks for your lovely message and its great we can support each other. I sincerely hope that my book brings some positivity and motivation to those who cannot see life after stroke...a few friends have read it already and I am getting great feedback. I have just finished reading Shelagh's  book and what an achievement, well done! The poems taking you through various stages of recovery to a wonderful success to finish.  I could relate to the sentiment all the way through and Shelagh has put into words feelings and thoughts I sometimes have difficulty in doing. Congratulations Shelagh you are an inspiration.

an absolute marvel.
