Describe what fatigue is like for you...

I heard a stroke survivor tell me the other day after their rehab, they were told the connect from the brain to the muscle gets fatigue. Made me think...

My mind wants to keep walking, but my left leg gets harder to move and I kinda feel unwell. I don't want to keep walking.

Holding something in my left hand, it gets hard to keep my hand up.

The muscle can be tired or sore afterwards. But my mind feels tried as well.

Looking forward to any contributions...

Fatigue , it can be lost of strength or it can be sleeping in the afternoon or even in the morning . It can also be short or long term memory ,

Hi Stuw, People experience fatigue in different ways. For me My brain slows down and my comprehension of speech and situations gets worse. I yawn alot  and loose co-ordination of my body. I have to move away from bright lights, busy places ,noise and need to sleep some times twice a day.

Day time sleep only recharges my brain and energy by about 20 percent. So I can only do one  big or important thing a day. Planning is important.  I make adjustments to life style. Ffriends and family know my limitations now and accept it. You need to be honest with yourself and accept the new you and then others will also.   Be kind to yourself.  Accept help when offerred. Best Wishes.

Thanks for the feedback so far! much appreciated.

Planning! Yes!
