Patient and Caregiver Education

Hello! I am a third year occupational therapy student who is completing her final capstone project at an inpatient rehab hospital. My project focuses on enhancing the patient/caregiver education program that the facility currently provides. I am currently collecting information on what previous CVA patients and their caregivers wish they knew while the patient was admitted into the inpatient rehab facility and at discharge.

My main question is: Were there any topics that the rehab team failed to cover during admission and/or at discharge that you wish you were informed on? Please share! Thank you!
