I speak from the Tasmanian perspective only. Recently I decided to ask my provider Integratedliving 1300 782 896 for more help. I found a very helpful person on the phone who explained that I needed to receive a code no .from My Aged Care and needed to be assessed by them. This lady made the call to Aged Care for me, so then received my magic code no. Now I understand that all services come under the umbrella of Aged Care/federal funded. That same lady made arrangements for me to be assessed by Regional Assessment Services. That took place on Wednesday without any hassles. In about 4 weeks times I should hear from one of the our regional providers. At the time it all seemed a long winded way of finding help. I have received help from integratedliving for 2 years and still happy with the service. Prior to that Home Based Care was my provider who later joined up with Integratedliving.
