Hi Everyone,
I am writing today about my experience I have just had by attending a Community Hub - lots of computers, attached to a coffee shop and a community bank.
This community hub is somewhere people can have printing done, if they are a member of the bank it is free up to a certain amount.
There was a free event at this hub today, a kind of quick tutor to a group on Cloud Storage for photos, documents. I went along as I'm not so familiar on the Cloud situation.
It was very informative and I found descriptions of all things involving clouds very informative and helpful. At the end of the hour we had an option of booking a half hour session to follow up on any questions we had. This will also be free.
I gave feedback on how I found the two young women's presentation helpful in familiarizing myself with the language of clouds and the differences of programs. There were about 12 of us turn up for the morning.
I will be passing this info on at our next stroke support meeting.
Does anyone else find their communities offer events which are helpful and educational?
Sue
