There is an amazing conversation in another forum topic about emotional lability, including how to manage it at work.

Well worth a read, and to comment if you have something to add http://enableme.org.au/community/forums/view-topic?id=fa52ff6e-80d4-46b5-877b-4f837a61d7ae

Diana I shed a few tears( out of sight of course) when I can't do much at all with our granddaughter Izumi, who's so alert and interested in everything at 7 months. She's at the Cygnet Folk Festival at the moment with Nicholas and Nozomi and Nozomi's Japanese parents( who are a great delight to have with us). Frits does everything if we babysit although we managed for a few hours alone at home with  Iz on her own. I think we went through the whole things one has to do with a baby until they returned from the Salamanca Market.

Hi Pats,

The team at StrokeLine have posted an answer to your question about handling Izumi.

Simone suggests that you give her a call and she can have an in-depth conversation with you.

Simone is on StrokeLine Monday to Wednesdays. 1800 787 653, she is an OT.

Hope she can help
