Hi,
Fortunately, my 77yo father has recovered very well from a recent stroke. He understands that he is not allowed to drive for 4 weeks post release from hospital and then requires a successful "GP assessment".
What does this "GP Assessment" entail and does any paperwork need to be submitted anywhere as a result.. or is it sufficient that in the unlikely event of an incident that my father can refer whoever back to the GP for confirmation of the assessment?
Note that I don't care about pedantic.. "strictly speaking he should...", I care about minimal practical requirements.. "in the event that he is at fault in an accident, he better have done..."
