0 CommentsHi All,
Going through a stroke is hard, and there aren't enough resources out there to help people get through it. I'm part of a team at Monash University that wants to work with survivors of stroke and acquired brain injury to understand what they are going through, and also build freely available resources that can help. We are particularly focused on mental distress, suicidal or self-harming thoughts, self-harm, and coping strategies, and would love to invite anyone on here to check out our page and complete our anonymous survey, if the time is right for you. The survey also asks about experiences with seeking help for these issues, and views on potentially helpful resources that should be available.
We are listed on the Stroke Foundation website here:
If you would like assistance completing the survey, please reach out to us at abicoping@monash.edu to arrange a time.
The survey will run till the end of this year, and we will release an update with our findings in future too. Thank you for considering, we truly value every response.
Warm regards,
Thomas
