We all survived.
Some of us survived better than other, nevertheless, we survived for an another day. We still have problems, either mental and/or physical, but we are still with our family and friends. We still have to deal with rehab, use speech, physical, occupation therapists, nurses, technicians, and doctors. We still need them as they are here to assist us, gave advice, and guidance. Without them, our recoveries should be more demanding, challenging or even gone astray. We all should give them a pat on their backs and praise them for a good job well done.
However, there are other people who have been with us from the beginning as well, from that first day of our shattered lives, stood beside our beds, helped us to be strong and to hold us went to are tired, despondent, or just needed a warm hug. These are our families: our children and our partners. Without them, we may not have got up every day and did our rehab, continued with positive views, and looked forward to our sunny futures.
So, to all of our families, we love you and thank you for looking out for us during our road to recovery. We couldn't have done this without you.
Thank you.
Is there somebody or group you would like to thank you during your recovery?
