enableme keeps me strong

Six months since I have written anything. Husband is still very sick in residential care. Some positive news, over the last 2 years I am a consumer rep for the Cairns Hospital. I am very honoured to be offered this position as I have a voice and can speak up for others. To think I had not worked since my strokes 20years ago, and offered this position at 70 years young is a huge achievement for me.  I guess I want to say never say never. Just try for very small goals but no one knows what slow recovery from strokes can eventually enable you to achieve.  Thanks Enableme. Jan
