Hi,
Thanks for posting to EnableMe. It’s great that there are no further impacts from your second stroke, and I like your attitude of pressing on regardless.
As you get back to your everyday activities, it may be worth checking in on your mood and levels of fatigue, as they may be affected after stroke. You may experience anxiety about why you had the stroke, fear of another stroke. You may find yourself feeling down. Of course, there can be positive emotions too – gratitude that it wasn’t worse, love for family and friends and pride at how resilient you are.
If your emotions become difficult to manage, or if you are feeling more tired than usual, don’t hesitate to seek support through your GP. You can also call StrokeLine 1800 787 653 Monday to Friday AEST or email strokeline@strokefoundation.org.au.
It’s important to know the cause of your second stroke. If you haven’t had this clarified, your GP can go through all the risk factors, run investigations and refer you to specialists. Depending on what caused your second stroke, or even if a cause can’t be found, there may be ways to address your risk factors to prevent further strokes.

Thank you for your comments exactly what I am feeling. Just manage to walk my dog 1/2 k instead of my usual 3 ks. and I am now exhausted! Waiting on seeing hospital doctor and my GP plus ultrasound of my heart. So next week will be busy for me and my wife who will have to drive me around. We will see what happens.
Good thing you're fine right now, Testie. keep safe.
Just take your time with your recovery and listen to your body / head.
My 2nd repeat stroke was not exactly like the first.
Fatigue is definitely back to square one but slightly different.
Ultrasound showed nothing so back to where I was. Feeling stronger each day if I can keep my spirits up. Forgetting more things since second episode especially names and how to spell. Never was a good speller but a lot worse now. Maybe looking for an excuse! Lol
