Hey Marcus,
Felt like this myself today :)
Hi Marcus,
I just wanted to thank you for all your wonderful photography - it helps make EnableMe such a dynamic place to be.

hi felt great for 3 days, fantastic in fact. Thought oh wow I'm getting better. Today I feel like the picture. Can't stop yawning. Just want to sit around. Body aches especially legs. I don't think I over did it? Is this normal? I'm still learning.

Hi Yvette
I hope you are feeling better today! Most survivors will experience fatigue so you are not alone. Fatigue can effect anyone, no matter how mild or severe their stroke. It usually comes on in the first weeks after a stroke but for some people it can start months later. While fatigue can be brought on by activity, it can happen even if you haven't been particularly active. So everything you are experiencing is normal, but undoubtedly frustrating and mystifying.
Check out our fatigue section - especially the fact sheet - to make sure you have the basics covered: https://enableme.org.au/Resources/Fatigue
There is evidence that good sleep and getting some exercise helps. You may need to speak to your doctor too, to make sure there isn't anything else contributing.
Some people keep a diary of events, activities and how they are feeling - this can help you see if there are any patterns or triggers, which you can then tackle.
Best wishes, Jude, StrokeLine
Hi there, I'm 6 weeks in and am now feeling the effects of fatigue quite heavily. It wasn't too noticeable over first few weeks. its good to learn I'm not the only one feeling this way. Cheers.
