I'm looking for sports or hobbies for stroke survivors who are in a wheelchair and are paralysed on one side. If anyone knows of any groups etc that support this type of disability in western Sydney I would very much appreciate any leads. To date anything I've looked into support wheelchair bound people but throw in use of only one arm and it all becomes to hard.

Cecilia Dee-Dee Mair If you are happy to travel to ocean - Sailability have venues across Australia.
Also Ice hockey. They use a sit sled and for hemiplegia athletes you can have an able bodied pusher - I’m about to try this here in Qld.
Another hobbie I have looked into but have not done yet is riffle shooting. I think this would be fun. But not athletically sporty as such.

Kristy Hastings In Victoria we have disability sport and recreation (DSR) that connect people with sport and activities.. not sure if there’s a nsw equivalent?
