Parenting After Stroke Research Study
Hello all!
My name is Gabrielle Harris and I am a graduate student at Duke University in the School of Nursing. I am conducting a project with the goal of improving the quality of life for stroke survivors who are also parents. I would like to talk with stroke survivors about their experiences managing the responsibilities of parenting after having a stroke. The purpose of this study is to increase knowledge of the demands facing parenting stroke survivors to ensure healthcare professionals are aware and able to provide adequate support. You may be eligible to participate in this research study if you are: 1) 18 to 60 years of age, 2) a parent, 3) able to speak or write English, and 4) are currently residing in the community. Our conversation may take 30 to 60 minutes to complete and can be in 1 to 2 sessions. You will receive a $25 gift card for your participation.
