Hi everyone,
I just what to see if many other mild-aphasia sufferers, use subtitles in TV or films. I have no problems (now) reading a book or my iPhone, but I still use subtitles to check my comprehension and listening abilities. A great place is TED talks because they have all subtitles.
But, watching foreign TV or films, is quite difficult because I can't read fast enough to follow what they are saying. That means I have to stop the film and read it.
Does anybody else use subtitles?
If you haven't, try them as I have found them very good for my recovery from aphasia both reading and listening.
Marcus
