'An article in Psychology today called Creativity and the Healing Brain, attempts to give a reason why this happens for some people. It could be to do which the change in the brain structure, or a change in confidence. Maybe we become more creative because it’s part of learning to adapt after a brain injury. But either way, I am enjoying the feeling (where it’s real or not.)'

I like taking photographs but since my stroke I end up taking much more creative and  challenging shot.

Does anybody else finding themselves more creative?

For me Marcus I have always dabbled in creativity and loved the accomplishment this bought me throughout life.  The yearn to create since my stroke for me really seemed to co-incide with my inability to talk without crying about what I had lived through.  Creating for me was a safe space to express myself without needing to justify anything.

So I put two and two together and knew that I needed to keep on fulfilling my urge to create in whatever way I could if this helped me.  And anything that helped was good in very very dark times.
