Arranging a speech assessment - ask to be put on the cancellation list

Hi everyone, my name is Alison. I had a basal ganglia ischemic stroke in March 2024. I had largely aphasia affecting me and that word was just on the tip of my tongue. It was a confusing time working my way around making appointments and arranging rehabilitation. I have worked really hard on my recovery and that started with the speech assessment.  I started a podcast to give people hope with their own recovery. In Episode 4, I spoke about the speech assessment, and how it was very confronting. I wanted to share it here with you.
