From Consumers Health Forum of Australia
We are looking for five consumers to join us for a high-level policy round-table to consider the future directions of digitally-enabled models of care under Australia’s National Digital Health Strategy.
Interested parties can submit an expression of interest here.
This round-table is hosted by the Consumers Health Forum of Australia and The George Institute for Global Health and is supported by the Australian Digital Health Agency.
The event will be held in Newtown, Sydney on 28 March 2018 from 9:30am AEDT.
This event will enable national health leaders to examine Australia’s National Digital Health Strategy – Safe, Seamless and Secure, specifically the strategic priority, ‘Digitally-enabled models of care that improve accessibility, quality, safety and efficiency’
The round-table is your opportunity to provide direct advice to the Agency and key national advocacy organisations about the direction we should take digitally enabled models of care in Australia and to help shape the specifications for national ‘testbed’ services to be taken forward under the Strategy.
To effectively contribute to this discussion, we need consumers with relevant experience, skills and knowledge. We will be discussing the implementation issues around testbeds of digitally enabled models of care in the areas of:
- Chronic Disease
- End of Life Care
- Residential Aged Care
- Emergency care
We are looking for consumers who have experience and knowledge in:
- health system reform
- digital health
- implementing large scale health services
CHF will cover travel costs for this event, however there will not be a sitting fee.
Please note that this EOI will close at 11:59pm AEDT, 6 March 2018. Successful applicants will be notified by the end of that week.
Please fill out the EOI form here to apply.
