We are looking for people who have experienced stroke that has affected their upper limb to participate in a new research project conducted at the University of South Australia. This study will use brain stimulation as a treatment to boost the response to therapy targeting the upper limb. We are aiming to understand why some people respond strongly to this therapy and whether we can better individualise brain stimulation treatment to each person.
Participation in this project involves attending experimental sessions at the University of South Australia and the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute. Participants will be provided with an individualised therapy program to improve function of the affected arm. There is no cost for participating in this project and funds are available to reimburse participants time.
