Have you experienced stroke and used, or been considered for, a new brain or nervous-system technology or medical device?
Monash University researchers are recruiting participants for a half-day workshop to help shape an Australian Brain Pioneers Network, a new community for people with lived experience of novel and/or investigational neurotechnologies.
The workshop will explore what kinds of peer support, information, resources and opportunities such a network should provide.
We’d love to hear from:
stroke survivors who use, or may soon use, a novel neurotechnology
healthcare professionals, carers or family members who may know patients who would be interested
Where?
This workshop will be in-person at Monash University, Caulfield, or online. Participants will be paid for their time, with reasonable participation-related expenses reimbursed where possible. More details about the study can be found here.
When?
Thursday 26th November
Interested, or know someone who might be? Contact Dr Nathan Higgins at nathan.higgins1@monash.edu or 0448 691 902.
