Hello all,
I just wanted to ask if anyone here has flown soon after a stroke, and or gone to theme parks?
Its been 3 months and 4 days since my stroke.
Flying to brisbane this friday :O and meant to go to dreamworld.

Yes I survived the flight and the weekend :) I was to nervous to go on any of the rides with the kids but we all still had a great time.
No issues with the flight, I was made sure I was moving around and drank a lot of water.
Great to hear!
I never went on any rides (apart from the merry-go-round and ferris wheel) prior to my stroke so definitely don't now :)

Thank for letting us know how you went on hols and at the theme park.
Do you have any other top pieces of advice for us about travelling. What rides did you end up going on.

I was not game to go on any rides, but got to enjoy the boys go on the rides :)
I just followed the advice from enable me :) stay hydrated!
I moved around a lot, was only a short flight but better to be safe, just moved my feet around wrinkle the fingers and drank a LOT of water.
I was very happy to get home lol
