New NSW Health Consumers, Carer and Community Advisory Council

The NSW Ministry of Health is inviting NSW consumers, carers and community members to express their interest in joining their new Consumer, Carer, and Community Advisory Council.
The Ministry has asked as to spread the word and we urge you to consider lodging an application.
Meeting bi-monthly, the Council will provide impartial and independent advice on strategic issues and strengthen the voices and influence of consumers, carers, and communities in strategic health decision-making by the Ministry.
Who: NSW Health are seeking up to 12 consumers, carers and community members from diverse backgrounds, identities, and life experiences from across NSW. Applicants are required to:
be receiving, received or have the potential to receive health services from NSW Health as a patient, carer, or community member
have experience in consumer/carer/community partnership at the program, system, governance or strategic level or similar
have experience leading, co-leading, or participating in a range of engagement methods and approaches.
Remuneration: You will be paid in accordance with the consumer, carer, and community member remuneration guidelines. You will also be publicly acknowledged as members of the Council by the NSW Ministry of Health.
