One some bad writing. 

The Road

One step,
One step, after another,
Continuing towards my unknown fate,

The dust settles along the cobblestone
Showing the broken and damaged road,
Potholes in missing hopes,
Past of successes, achievements scattered to the wind,
Another step, another footprint on the path

The road is long, winding, tortuous,
One step at a time,
One step to this impossible journey,
A mountain too distant to see,
Too inaccessible, too far, too lonely.

Alas, there is only one road.
One step at a time.

Yes pot holes and loneliness, I certainly relate to those words.

And I am that annoying person who is going to say - your writing is not bad, not bad at all, be kind to yourself.  Your writing is a release, and I so get that!!

Marcus I am so sorry to hear you are going through a rough time. I send you 'warm fuzzies'for a speedy recovery. I  have missed your posts and wondered what was happening for you,. My silence has been due to  loss of our NBN. Yesterday a technician came to our rescue to find rodents had chewed through the cable  in the rafters. A heavier cable was  replaced, also large amount of ratsack.  Jenny
