Background: My father had an Ischemic Stroke 2 weeks ago, thankfully he returned home a few days ago having regained > 90% normality (no obvious cause of clot found, general age related ischemic small vessel disease).
My mother is panicking about everything, including whether he should get the covid-19 booster.
I feel silly asking, I assume the answer will be "the minimal risk of getting the booster far outweighs the risks of not".
Can someone refer me to a respectable medical reference that confirms this, so that I can remove this item from Mum's worry list?
