February/March Photography Group

Hi everyone,

Last week I travelled down to Sydney to catch up with the crew at Synapse Reconnections (Brain Injury Support Group), we have a lovely morning strolling around the Sydney Botanical Gardens. It was great to meet up with people I talk with over safe social media!

Hi Sue, 

How lucky to have the opportunity to meet others who are different times of their journies. This is something that I would love to have, that is, have a cup of coffee with others and share your thoughts and ideas. 

I have lost a lot of my Japanese language skills and conversation confidence, so it would be nearly impossible to have a 'survivor coffee club.' Bummer. 

It looked like a good day to check out gardens, flowers, and plants.

Hi Marcus,

It was a great day and I so hear you about the getting together with others.  It was 7 years until I found group support and oh boy did I feel like I found what I had needed.  And I had to move towns, move states for me to find it!   What sort of after care support does the hospital system offer?  Or is this still all in Japanese?

I wonder with the development of EnableMe into the future if real time video links will be able to be accessed.  I'd  enjoy having a cuppa with you Marcus! I I like to dream big, it helped lead me to where I am today.
